Sonoma Ready Day on Sunday, September 8, 2019

On Sunday, September 8, 2019 Sonoma County invites the community to participate in Sonoma Ready Day, a countywide emergency preparedness fair. Thanks to a generous $100,000 donation from the Tribal Council of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, 2,400 free emergency kits will be available to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
To get a free emergency kit, attendees must register for SoCoAlert, Sonoma County’s official emergency alert system. To expedite emergency kit distribution, we recommend community members register prior to attending.
What: | Sonoma Ready Day is a free event offering emergency preparedness resources, demonstrations, short lectures, emergency vehicle displays and tools to educate and empower community members to withstand and recover from disasters. Sonoma Ready Day is a bilingual event. |
