Housing Heroes
Housing authorities for Sonoma County and the City of Santa Rosa, along with community leaders who work with individuals who are unhoused or precariously housed, have joined in a new campaign to celebrate, and acknowledge our local Housing Heroes. Please click HERE for more information.
Opening doors to permanent housing and opportunity
The Sonoma County Community Development Commission (CDC) is dedicated to creating homes for all in thriving and inclusive neighborhoods. The CDC was established in 1978 as the County's public housing authority and is Sonoma County's lead agency for housing and homeless programs.
The CDC has relocated to new offices!
The Community Development Commission and Sonoma County Housing Authority have relocating to new offices located at 141 Stony Circle, Suite 210 in Santa Rosa. Our offices are located on the second floor. To access it, please enter the main entrance at 141 Stony Circle and proceed down the hallway. You will find the first flight of stairs on your left; our office is located at the top of these stairs. Alternatively, you may use the elevator to reach the second floor. Upon exiting the elevator, our office will be directly ahead.
Public transportation access to our new location is served by bus routes 9, 9E and 15. Please direct all future mail correspondence to P.O. Box 12025, Santa Rosa, CA. 95406-2025.
¡El CDC se ha reubicado a nuevas oficinas!
La Comisión de Desarrollo Comunitario y la Autoridad de Vivienda del Condado de Sonoma se ha reubicado a nuevas oficinas localizadas en 141 Stony Circle, Suite 210 en Santa Rosa. Nuestras oficinas están localizadas en el segundo piso. Para acceder, favor de entrar en la entrada principal en 141 Stony Circle y proceda por el pasillo. Encontrará el primer tramo de escaleras a su izquierda, nuestra oficina está localizada en la parte superior de estas escaleras. Alternativamente, puede usar el ascensor para llegar al segundo piso. En cuanto sale del ascensor, nuestra oficina esta directamente al frente.

Notice of Public Hearing: Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Funding Policies
The Sonoma County Community Development Committee and the Cities and Towns Advisory Committee will hold concurrent public hearings to review proposed revisions to Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Funding Policies for federal funding sources such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Low Moderate Income Housing Asset Fund (LMIHAF) programs.
