Sonoma County voters invited to attend disability and language workshops in advance of Nov. 4 Statewide Special Election

Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Evelyn Mendez announced two workshops taking place on Oct. 1 and Oct. 14 to educate voters about the upcoming Nov. 4 Statewide Special Election. While open to everyone, the first workshop will focus on how to use the equipment to make voting accessible for voters with disabilities (e.g., how to use the accessible ballot marking devices at Vote Centers), while the second workshop will focus on issues affecting voters whose primary language is not English (e.g., how to obtain facsimile ballots in Khmer, Tagalog, or Vietnamese).

  • Date: Oct. 1
  • Time: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Location: 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95403

For more information about the upcoming workshops, please call (707) 565-6800, email rov-info@sonomacounty.gov, or visit the Registrar of Voters Office in person at 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa. Standard office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays (excluding County holidays). However, due to the Nov. 4 Statewide Special Election, the office will be open until 5 p.m. every Wednesday in October and November.
