Recovery Planning Community Meetings in Spanish
Input from residents sought for Recovery and Resiliency Framework

The County of Sonoma encourages all Spanish speaking residents to participate in two workshops that will gather public input to shape the Recovery and Resiliency Plan to ensure the safety, livelihoods, and economic prosperity of the residents of Sonoma County. Workshops in Santa Rosa on August 28 and in Sonoma on September 5 will be conducted in all Spanish. These workshops are in addition to five county-wide Recovery Planning Community Meetings conducted in English throughout July and August.
The meetings will be held on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, August 28, 2018
from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Lawrence Cook Middle School, 2480 Sebastopol Road,
Santa Rosa
Wednesday, September 5,
2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
La Luz Center, 17560 Greger St., Sonoma
Residents are encouraged to share their ideas and vision for each of the five strategy areas, including Community Preparedness and Infrastructure, Housing, Economy, Natural Resources, and Safety Net Services. The input collected at the workshops will be published and available for individuals, organizations, and municipalities to use in additional recovery planning.
California HOPE counselors, and child care will be available at all of the meetings. Light refreshments will be served.
