Recovery Planning Community Meeting on Wednesday in Petaluma

Input from residents sought for Recovery and Resiliency framework

The County of Sonoma continues to encourage residents to participate in workshops that will gather public input to shape the Recovery and Resiliency Plan to ensure the safety, livelihoods, and economic prosperity of the residents of Sonoma County. Tomorrow’s workshop will be held at the Petaluma Community Center.

Who: County of Sonoma Office of Recovery and Resiliency
What: Supervisor David Rabbitt and County Department Heads will welcome participants and provide general recovery planning information before breaking into small group discussions.
When:Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Petaluma Community Center, 320 North McDowell Blvd., Petaluma

Workshops will include facilitated small group discussion sessions where residents will be encouraged to share their ideas and vision for each of the five strategy areas, including Community Preparedness and Infrastructure, Housing, Economy, Natural Resources, and Safety Net Services. The input collected at the workshops will be published and available for individuals, organizations, and municipalities to use in additional recovery planning.

Spanish translation, California HOPE counselors, and child care will be available at all of the meetings. Light refreshments will be served.
