FEMA Mobile Registration Intake Center to open today in Sonoma County
Santa Rosa,CA | September 11, 2020
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will open a Mobile Response Intake Center today at the offices of Sonoma County Office of Education 5430 Skylane Boulevard, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. The intake center will be open daily (Monday through Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice.
Individuals affected by the Meyers and Walbridge fires may be eligible for FEMA Critical Needs Assistance, among other programs.
At the intake center, fire survivors can register for FEMA assistance, check the status of their FEMA applications, find information about programs and agencies that can help speed their recovery, receive answers to questions and find out whether they can still receive assistance if they have insurance. The FEMA Critical Needs Assistance application deadline is Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020.
Survivors can register with FEMA in one of three ways: By going online to www.disasterassistance.gov; by downloading the FEMA app to a smartphone or tablet; or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585) between 7 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. The helpline staff can also answer questions about applications already submitted.###
