Debris Removal Resources
Flood debris drop-off sites available through March 4, 2019
Santa Rosa,CA | March 02, 2019
To assist with storm cleanup, flood debris drop-off sites are now available in several West County communities through Monday, March 4.
Sonoma County Transportation and Public Works, in collaboration with local waste companies, has established collection sites for non-hazardous storm debris at the following locations:
Non-Toxic Flood Debris Disposal
Forestville / Rio Nido
- Time / Dates: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. March 2-4
- Location: Forestville Park and Ride lot, 8820 River Road (at Mirabel Road)
- Location: Sunset Beach River Park, 11060 River Road
Guerneville
- Time / Dates: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. March 2-4
- Location: Guerneville Park and Ride lot, 16514 Main St.
- Location: JK Amusement Center (Pee Wee Golf and Arcade), 16155 Drake Road
Monte Rio
- Time / Dates: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. March 2-4
- Location: Monte Rio Community Center , 20488 Highway 116
The collection service is intended only for waste originating from the flood . Those using the service will be asked to show ID or proof they live in a flood-affected community.
Please do not mix hazardous and toxic waste with other flood debris. For common examples of toxic materials, please go to zerowastesonoma.gov/. Toxic materials collection services are being planned, and details will be shared on www.socoemergency.org.
Debris will be accepted only during posted hours. Residents are asked to help protect the environment and not leave debris at unattended sites or in public right of ways.
