Sonoma County Board of Supervisors Seeks Community Input at Safety Net Services Recovery Workshop

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors invites community members to attend and provide input to guide post-fire recovery efforts at an upcoming Safety Net Services Recovery public workshop, on August 7, 2018. This will be the fifth Recovery Workshop the Board has conducted on each of the critical areas of recovery following the October 2017 wildfires. Earlier this year, the Board conducted workshops on Housing, Community Preparedness and Infrastructure, Economy, and Natural Resources.
Topics that will be discussed related to Safety Net Services include the impact of the fires on mandated County health and human services, community organizations’ recovery efforts, data gathering findings, and next steps in recovery planning. Periods for questions and answers will be provided.
