Santa Rosa,CA | October 16, 2020
Deva Marie Proto, Sonoma County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor-Registrar of Voters, reminds voters to prepare to vote in the upcoming election by visiting the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters website at https://sonomacounty.ca.gov/vote. Among other things, the site contains accurate, up-to-date information regarding ballot drop box and in-person voting locations. A list of these locations was provided with every voter’s mail ballot packet, but some information has changed since the insert was printed and mailed.
The updates are as follows:
- Ballot
drop box locations:
- The Jenner Fire Station drop box has been replaced by the Duncans Mills Fire Station drop box at 24900 Hwy 116 in Duncan Mills.
- The address for the Roseland Community Center in Santa Rosa has changed to 779 Sebastopol Road.
- The address for the Bluebird Center in Windsor has changed to 25 Bluebird Drive.
- In-person
voting locations
- The address for the Roseland Community Center in Santa Rosa has changed to 779 Sebastopol Road.
- The address for the Berger Center (Oakmont) in Santa Rosa has changed to 6633 Oakmont Drive.
Ms. Proto reiterates that official ballot drop boxes are safe, secure, accessible, and open 24/7 until 8 p.m. on Election Day (November 3).
In-person voting locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between October. 31 and November 2, 2020, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day (November 3, 2020) itself.
Unlike previous elections in Sonoma County, voters are not assigned to a specific polling place and may instead go to any in-person voting location they choose.
For a map and list of all drop boxes and in-person voting locations, visit https://sonomacounty.ca.gov/where-to-vote.
