Groundbreaking Ceremony for Sonoma Valley Sewer Trunk Main Project
Santa Rosa,CA | July 12, 2019
On Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. there will be a Groundbreaking Ceremony to mark the beginning of Reach 4A and 4B.1 of the Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District’s Sewer Trunk Main Replacement Project. The project is part of the ongoing effort to increase the system’s capacity and prevent sanitary sewer overflows.
Reach 4A will replace the trunk main from 6th Street West and Studley Street, continue north to Highway 12, and continue west and north along Highway 12, ending at Ramon Street.
Reach 4B.1 will replace a section of the main within Maxwell Farms Regional Park that is under the baseball field, which is scheduled for improvements as part of the park’s Master Plan. Construction of Reaches 4A and 4B.1 will get underway in July 2019 with a cost of approximately $6.1 million.
