Rate Structure

ISD provides core information technology and business services necessary to carry out the day-to-day business and operations of the County. These services are billed to customer departments on a cost recovery basis.

The annual ISD Cost Plan for technology services establishes the billing rates based on the expense of providing services and the estimated Departmental consumption of the services. Departments are billed monthly based on actual usage. At the end of the fiscal year, charges to departments are adjusted proportionately based on the final true cost of providing the services. This could result in either an increase or decrease in each Department's final invoice. 

The rates for services including Information Technology Baselines, Communications, and  Records and Information Management are set annually and billed monthly.
