As the daughter of immigrants and part of a trailblazing family committed to higher education, she’s proud to continue a legacy shaped by resilience and sacrifice. Angie brings lived experience, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to uplifting Latino youth and families through access, education, and culturally responsive support.

Angie is also pursuing a future in education as a high school English teacher, focusing on language justice and identity-affirming classrooms. She believes that empowering youth through education is key to breaking cycles of inequity and creating opportunities for growth and self-expression. Angie looks forward to supporting sustainable growth, amplifying community voices, and leading with empathy and integrity, always with a commitment to nurturing the next generation.
