Man Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison for Child Molest Conviction
DefendantArturo Blancas-Lopez, 51 years old of Santa Rosa, was sentenced today by theHonorable Robert Laforge to sixteen years in state prison after having pled nocontest in November of last year to two felony charges of Forcible Lewd Actswith a Minor Under the Age of Fourteen. Read full story

A faultyvalve resulted in the accidental release of 2 million gallons of untreatedwastewater from a pipeline in the Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District(District). The leak occurred at Schell Slough in Sonoma Valley, and the wastewaterflowed into the slough. Read full story
