Vaccinations of 5- to11-year-olds to begin in Sonoma County during week of Nov. 8

With federal and state regulators having now approved the use of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11, Sonoma County is expected to begin vaccinating the roughly 37,000 children in this age range through primary care physicians, local pharmacies or county-sponsored school-based clinics beginning the week of Nov. 8. Board ofSupervisors to protect Paulin Meadow in Santa Rosa as open space

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is expected next week to approve the transfer of Parcel J (Paulin Meadow), a 10.42-acre property that is part of a collection of publicly owned parcels adjacent to the County of Sonoma-owned Chanate campus, from the county’s General Services Department to the Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District (Ag + Open Space). The transfer will ensure the protection of the woodland area as open space in perpetuity. Read full story

<p>Defendant found guilty by jury of all counts in serial rape case</p>
