The Sonoma County Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures (AWM) is conducting a preliminary data capture to evaluate potential damage and/or loss sustained during the June 2024 Point Fire in Sonoma County. AWM may contact the reporting party for additional information. Data collected is for AGRICULTURAL CROP RELATED damage and/or loss only. All information is confidential. This information will be used to compile a damage assessment report for Sonoma County in order to qualify Sonoma County for possible federal assistance. Read full story

Agricultural Pass Program activated

The Agricultural Pass Program is activated. People with a valid Ag Pass may enter Zone SON-2E2 (Dry Creek Valley) to conduct approved agricultural activities. Community members are invited to attend the 4th Prop 47 Jail In-reach Local Advisory Committee on Wednesday, July 17th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The purpose of the jail in-reach program is to use intensive engagement strategies to establish relationships with individuals who have serious mental health and/or substance use disorders, are unhoused or precariously housed, and are repeatedly incarcerated.
